In main switchboards, where the SPD pre-fuse is higher than 250 A or its value is not known in advance, SPDs with integrated disconnector (overcurrent protection) of the FLP-25-T1-VSF series (SPD type 1) or FLP-B+C-MAXI-VSF (SPD types 1 and 2) can be used, which do not require additional pre-fusing. These products are mainly designed for three-phase 230/400 V AC TN-C(-S), TN-S and also TT distribution networks. They are arranged as combined lightning arresters with zero leakage current, without the occurrence of follow-on current, with internal thermal and overcurrent protection. They meet the requirements on highest lightning protection class for buildings with LPS I.
As standard, these SPDs will be equipped with remote SPD status indication.
The new FLP-25-T1-VSF and FLP-B+C-MAXI-VSF series will be available from 1 July 2023.
