Photovoltaic systems are installed in very exposed locations, where the technology must withstand the effects of the weather during its lifetime.   • Surge Protection on the DC Side - SALTEK® FLP-PV Series Components…. and SLP-PV… are specially designed to protect the equipment on the DC side from damage and outages due to induced surges or lightning strikes.
  • Protection against overvoltage on the AC side - Very powerful protections of the FLP or SLP series are used to protect sensitive inverters on the AC side. Their task is to protect the AC output of the sensitive inverter against the effects of lightning strikes or overvoltages coming from the 230/400 V AC network.
  • Protection of the distribution network - Photovoltaic systems connected to the 230/400 V AC distribution network must be protected both against atmospheric phenomena (lightning) induced into the distribution network and against overvoltages arising on the distribution network due to the action of various and remote technologies powered from this network. Very powerful SALTEK® protections of the FLP, SLP and DA series reliably minimize overvoltage problems on the 230/400 V distribution network.
  • Protection of control and control circuits - Control and control circuits are very sensitive even to small values of overvoltage and therefore their protection is very important so that the technology remains functional. To protect them, a whole range of DM, BDM, DL, etc. series protections are used.
