This year, SALTEK® is celebrating 20 years since its foundation. In 1995, in Ústí nad Labem, Jaromír Suchý founded a company that focused on the development and manufacture of surge protection. Since then, the company has undergone a dynamic and successful evolution aimed at expressing the company's motto: "Overvoltage controlled. ANYWHERE."
Twenty years ago, the company offered several dozen types of products, with a primary focus on the Czech market. Today, our offer includes hundreds of types of products in three basic categories: low-voltage power systems, photovoltaic systems and data/signal/telecommunication networks which fill 200 pages of the SALTEK® catalogue. This wide range of products provides customers with comprehensive surge protection solutions in many areas of business and life. Even our geographic focus has experienced a significant change. Currently, 65% of the company's turnover consists of export, where, in addition to the classic Western and Eastern European markets, a number of areas as far as Africa and Asia are represented as well.
History is in the past, but the future is the most important for our company. For this reason, SALTEK® has been increasingly focused on new product development and the development of its business and employees, all essential foundations for continuing the history of success in the years to come and for establishing our standing as a significant Czech and European manufacturer of surge protection.
